Our music is a mix of the greatest songs from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and beyond. It’s all selected to target the 45 and older listeners. Our music isn’t too far country, even though we do play Dolly Parton, Glen Campbell, Kenny Rogers and Roger Miller. It’s not too far rock, even though we do play the Beatles, The Who, and others. And it’s not too soft, even though we play Neil Diamond, Barbra Streisand and The Carpenters. We call it “TIMELESS FAVORITES” WYMC also invites churches and listeners to send in or call in birthdays and anniversaries Mondays- Fridays at 7:40am for the “Birthday Show” at 270-247-1430. Our Buy-n-Sell line allows listeners to call in their items to buy, sell, trade, or giveaway. Mondays-Fridays from 12:20pm-12:40pm at 270-247-9962. The WYMC Breakfast Club Show has been on the air since the early 1980’s. It’s our hometown version of the Today Show. We play music, report news, weather, sports, and talk to guests about community happenings. From cub scouts to the Governor of Kentucky. You never know who will be our next guest.
